My memories for EJCS is fantastic. Beautiful tournament
with great organisation and Klosters city
with nice nature is perfect memory for me. In
this tournament I won in singles and doubles
gold medal and this memory will stay with me
in my whole life for sure. I remembered that I
was not feeling well before singles finale and
maybe 5 minutes before match I was vomited
in the locker room but in the end when I step on
court in the finale I started feeling better and
play really well. I am happy that I can share this
memories with you.

Meine Erinnerungen an die EJCS sind fantastisch.
Ein tolles Turnier mit einer grossartigen Organisation
und Klosters mit seiner schönen Natur
– die perfekte Erinnerung für mich.
In diesem Turnier gewann ich im Einzel und im
Doppel die Gold-Medaille und dieses Andenken,
da bin ich sicher, wird mich mein Leben lang
begleiten.
Ich kann mich erinnern, dass mir vor dem Finalspiel
übel war und ich mich 5 Minuten vor Matchbeginn
übergeben musste, aber als ich dann für
das Finale den Tennisplatz betrat, fühlte ich mich
schon sehr viel besser und spielte wirklich gut.
Ich bin glücklich, meine Erinnerungen mit Euch
zu teilen.

“I remember that I travelled all night by car from
Germany to Klosters the day before my first match,
so I was really tired and didn’t expect to play
that well. But as soon as I stepped on court I felt
very comfortable. I played really good during
the whole tournament. I think that was my best
tournament throughout my junior career.
I was amazed by the beautiful scenery in Klosters
and all the friendly people that made all players
feel welcome. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.
Still today when thinking of my win at the European
Junior Championship I feel proud. I’m happy
that the tournament is still being played at the
same place after 25 years, and I hope it will continue
in Klosters for at least 25 more years”

Ich erinnere mich, dass wir vor meinem ersten
Match mit dem Auto die ganze Nacht von Deutschland
nach Klosters durchfuhren und ich wirklich
müde war. Ich erwartete eigentlich nicht, gut zu
spielen, doch sobald ich den Platz betrat fühlte ich
mich sehr wohl. Ich spielte während des ganzen
Turniers wirklich sehr gut. Ich glaube, das war das
beste Turnier meiner Junioren Karriere.
Ich war überrascht von der wunderschönen Landschaft
in Klosters und all den freundlichen Menschen,
die uns Spieler willkommen hiessen. Ich
genoss jede Minute meines Aufenthalts.
Auch heute noch, wenn ich an den Sieg bei den
European Junior Championships denke, fühle ich
mich stolz. Ich bin glücklich, dass das Turnier auch
nach 25 Jahren am gleichen Ort gespielt wird und
hoffe, dass es weiterhin in Klosters bleibt, mindestens
für die nächsten 25 Jahre.
