Tatyana Graf is a Russian
artist based in Dubai. She
has been living in Dubai for
the past 20 years. The artist
says that the city’s desert landscapes
and magnificent skyline that changes
colour from time to time makes her
feel like she is part of a fairy tale
every time she looks at it.
“I like to visualize the beauty
around us and fix it as a memory
of the moment for me but also for
others which cannot join me in
such moments” says Tatyana. Her
works are inspired from classical
masters and she has been trained by
classical teachers.
Tatyana has trained herself to do
sculptural art in recent. She has
taken this field to honors the ancient
artists of the Greek and Romans
high times and she considers this
one of her biggest achievements in
recent times. “I try to be as realistic
as possible, still adding an artistic
touch of imagination to my work”
says Tatyana.
She studied at the St. Petersburg
Academy of Arts, one of the oldest
art educational institutions in the
world. In her work, Tatyana adheres
to the principles of continuity of the
best traditions of Russian and
world art.
Her paintings are made in a
classical style and glorify the beauty
of man and the world around
him. Tatyana works a lot in the
open air, filling her canvases with
the freshness of sensations, the
perception of nature at a particular
moment in time.
