<strong>the</strong> renowned Spanish<br />

surrealist Salvador Dalli.<br />

His works of digital sceneries of<br />

<strong>the</strong> Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.<br />

have garnered attention onl<strong>in</strong>e with<br />

his surreal take on <strong>the</strong> architectural<br />

beauty of Dubai’s build<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />

@zakeazy, his Instagram account<br />

received praises for his recent<br />

posts featur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> Dubai<br />

Frame and Atlantis, The Palm.<br />

Eazy also has <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> work<strong>in</strong>gs<br />

four more artworks featur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong><br />

architectural beauty of Dubai and<br />

its extent of development. He has<br />

sights on <strong>the</strong> Museum of <strong>the</strong> Future,<br />

<strong>the</strong> world’s largest observation wheel<br />

A<strong>in</strong> Dubai, <strong>the</strong> Al Seef neighborhood,<br />

and <strong>the</strong> Sheikh Zayed Grand<br />

Mosque <strong>in</strong> Abu Dhabi.<br />

“Through <strong>the</strong> Dubai Frame, you<br />

can see <strong>the</strong> old and <strong>the</strong> new Dubai.<br />

That’s why I used this monument<br />

because it’s an analogy between<br />

life before and after, life before<br />

opportunity, and life after opportunity.<br />

I used dolph<strong>in</strong>s to represent anybody<br />

<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> world because <strong>the</strong>re are<br />

opportunities for everyone <strong>in</strong> Dubai.<br />

No matter your race or color of your<br />

sk<strong>in</strong>, you will manage to swim like a<br />

dolph<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> water if you manage to<br />

take <strong>the</strong> opportunity.” Says Zak.<br />

His choice of selection is quite<br />

“I love to see reactions<br />

of people because <strong>the</strong>y<br />

<strong>in</strong>terpret <strong>the</strong> art <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

way. Some view my art<br />

as fantastic and magical,<br />

and some see it as <strong>the</strong><br />

apocalypse and life after<br />

human ext<strong>in</strong>ction,”<br />

simple. Eazy expla<strong>in</strong>s this as he<br />

expla<strong>in</strong>s his take on surreal art.<br />

“I love to mix architecture, animals,<br />

and nature <strong>in</strong> a surrealistic style. I<br />

love to take realistic th<strong>in</strong>gs and make<br />

it more fantastical. And I love mak<strong>in</strong>g<br />

<strong>the</strong> world dreamier and sweeter. I<br />

picked <strong>the</strong>se monuments because<br />

<strong>the</strong>y are best known <strong>in</strong> Dubai and<br />

I was really impressed by <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

architecture.”<br />

Zak began creat<strong>in</strong>g art <strong>in</strong> 2019,<br />

where he started off with add<strong>in</strong>g<br />

a surreal touch to images from his<br />

hometown. His social account is<br />

home to comments and praise for his<br />

vision and approach to digital art.<br />

Right now, Eazy is work<strong>in</strong>g towards<br />

his first exhibition.<br />

To any artist, <strong>the</strong> f<strong>in</strong>al prize is to<br />

see how people understand and<br />

perceive your artwork. On that<br />

note, Easy says someth<strong>in</strong>g that will<br />

resonate with <strong>the</strong> artist <strong>in</strong> us all.<br />

“I love to see [<strong>the</strong>] reactions of<br />

people because <strong>the</strong>y <strong>in</strong>terpret <strong>the</strong><br />

art <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir way. Some view my art<br />

as fantastic and magical, and some<br />

see it as <strong>the</strong> apocalypse and life after<br />

human ext<strong>in</strong>ction,” he says. “I have<br />

my mean<strong>in</strong>g but people are free to<br />

<strong>in</strong>terpret it accord<strong>in</strong>g to what <strong>the</strong>y<br />

see, accord<strong>in</strong>g to <strong>the</strong>ir experiences.<br />

And this is what I like <strong>the</strong> most.”<br />
