DIGITAL ARTIST
Zak Eazy is a 26-yearold
digital artist out of
Lille, France, inspired by
the renowned Spanish
surrealist Salvador Dalli.
His works of digital sceneries of
the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.
have garnered attention online with
his surreal take on the architectural
beauty of Dubai’s buildings.
@zakeazy, his Instagram account
received praises for his recent
posts featuring the Dubai
Frame and Atlantis, The Palm.
Eazy also has in the workings
four more artworks featuring the
architectural beauty of Dubai and
its extent of development. He has
sights on the Museum of the Future,
the world’s largest observation wheel
Ain Dubai, the Al Seef neighborhood,
and the Sheikh Zayed Grand
Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
“Through the Dubai Frame, you
can see the old and the new Dubai.
That’s why I used this monument
because it’s an analogy between
life before and after, life before
opportunity, and life after opportunity.
I used dolphins to represent anybody
in the world because there are
opportunities for everyone in Dubai.
No matter your race or color of your
skin, you will manage to swim like a
dolphin in the water if you manage to
take the opportunity.” Says Zak.
His choice of selection is quite

simple. Eazy explains this as he
explains his take on surreal art.
“I love to mix architecture, animals,
and nature in a surrealistic style. I
love to take realistic things and make
it more fantastical. And I love making
the world dreamier and sweeter. I
picked these monuments because
they are best known in Dubai and
I was really impressed by their
architecture.”
Zak began creating art in 2019,
where he started off with adding
a surreal touch to images from his
hometown. His social account is
home to comments and praise for his
vision and approach to digital art.
Right now, Eazy is working towards
his first exhibition.
To any artist, the final prize is to
see how people understand and
perceive your artwork. On that
note, Easy says something that will
resonate with the artist in us all.
“I love to see [the] reactions of
people because they interpret the
art in their way. Some view my art
as fantastic and magical, and some
see it as the apocalypse and life after
human extinction,” he says. “I have
my meaning but people are free to
interpret it according to what they
see, according to their experiences.
And this is what I like the most.”
