Kadampa Temple
The Centro de Meditação Kadampa
Brasil - Templo pela Paz Mundial – is a
product of the vison and pure intention of
the Venerável Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and
is a gift to future generations, so that each
living being may find happiness and release
from suffering.
The Cabreúva unit is the third Kadampa
Buddhist Temple, implanted in 2010 with
traditional architecture and built as part
of the International Temple Project. It is
the biggest built up to this day and was
designed with symbolism and original art
which add to it soothing built and a deep
sense of spirituality.
Kadampa Buddhism is a school of
Mahayana Buddhism founded by the
great Indian Buddhist Master Atisha
(982-1054), and the temple built
upon cabreúvan soil is open for courses,
meditation, relaxation, accommodation
and spiritual retreats.
