It was the second round of the season for the 65cc class where we saw Marty Spires battle head to<br />
head with wildcard Thai, Brian Gyles, who pulled through with a clean sweep with first place in<br />
every race.<br />
Sonny Rooney coming second overall, three points ahead of Robbie Daly in third who also had a<br />
consistent ride this weekend. BW85 class for Billy Askew, who rode superb with race wins in race<br />
one, two and four as well as collecting the 24MX holeshot in race three and the Kecks Fastest Lap<br />
in race one.<br />
Charlie Heyman put up a fight to continue his win streak into Whitby, and he sure did. Heyman<br />
walked through the races with top position and the Kecks Fastest Lap. Cole Mccullough and Ben<br />
Mustoe battled throughout the weekend for that second-place spot on the podium with Mustoe<br />
performing better on the Saturday and Mccullough on the Sunday.The 250cc class was dominated<br />
by Tyler Westcott, who was leading without challenge in all four races over the weekend and<br />
placed top on the podium with the Kecks Fastest Lap Award.<br />
Conrad took top step claiming the Kecks Fastest lap and 24MX Holeshot with Talviku making his<br />
debut and Karssemakers in third.<br />
With no clear leader so far it leaves Searle, Kullas, Simpson and Gilbert with 70 point difference<br />
between the four riders it leaves no room for errors in the final two rounds.
