The stand demonstrated arange of innovative and sustainable substrates for use in retaildesign, instore displays and POS at the VM & Display Show held inApril.Every element of the stand was made using substrates fromwithin Antalis’ portfolio of sustainable products. The stand’sstructure and all internal furniture was constructed entirely fromXanita, an engineered, closed cell fibreboard manufactured frommaterial recovered from recycled used cardboard boxes.Lightweight yet strong, Xanita is 100% recyclable and perfect forstructural concepts such as exhibition and event stands, internalfurniture and 3D displays. Other board products used includedLumex - a clear APET alternative to acrylic sheets, Katz DisplayBoard - a wood pulp fibre board and Triaprint - an environmentallyfriendly and recyclable alternative to the use of PVC and PUR foamboards. Yupo Jelly a PVC free, 100% recyclable polyester film andHEYtex Ecotex Decoflex R a textile option deco material made of100% recycled yarns, also featured on the stand.Specification Consultant at Antalis, Claire White, comments:“Designing and producing a sustainable exhibition stand is aboutmore than what is visually delivered – sustainability must beconsidered at every stage of the project.
