LONG-YOUNG<br />
Kathy Lee Long-<br />
Young, 67, of London<br />
died on Oct. 21,<br />
<strong>2022</strong>, in her residence.<br />
Born on Aug.<br />
14, 1955, in Columbus,<br />
she was the<br />
daughter of Ruth<br />
(Davis) and Milton<br />
Hall.<br />
Impressed by her<br />
sweet and earnest<br />
personality, everyone with whom she interacted<br />
couldn’t help but share their life story<br />
with her.<br />
While raising her children, Kathy was a<br />
dedicated member of Amlin United<br />
Methodist Church, during which time she<br />
was always found helping with fellowship<br />
meals and chit-chatting with everyone<br />
around the room.<br />
Kathy held lead office manager roles in<br />
the lawn care industry, followed by 14 years<br />
with Heflin Home Remodeling in<br />
Marysville, Ohio, before retiring to enjoy<br />
playing the piano, singing aloud to her favorite<br />
songs, and making friendly acquaintances<br />
in her community.<br />
She uplifted everyone she spoke with, always<br />
showing genuine concern for their<br />
well-being, and praising them for their individuality.<br />
Survivors to whom she imparted her<br />
kindness include: her children, Travis Long<br />
of Whitehall and Jessica (Terry) Gbur of Indiana;<br />
step-daughter, Lori (Antonio) Diaz of<br />
Arizona; grandchildren, Elias and Decklan<br />
Long, Emily and Lincoln Gbur, Olivia and<br />
Ethan Diaz; former husbands, Mark Long<br />
and Gary Young; mother, Ruth Mills of London;<br />
brother, Lee Hall; sister, Barbara<br />
Tucker; nieces and nephews, Benjamin<br />
Tucker, Hannah (Bryce) Klouse, Chas<br />
(Zula) Swanson and David Swanson; several<br />
aunts and uncles and numerous<br />
cousins.<br />
She’s reunited with those who preceded<br />
her in death, including: her father; her<br />
grandmother, Blair Hall and Grandma and<br />
Grandpa Davis; sister, Marilyn Hall; sister,<br />
Penny Swanson; and step-daughter, Katie<br />
Young.<br />
Her family is holding a memorial reception<br />
on Nov. 12 from 12 to 4 p.m. at 637 Circle<br />
Dr., London, for all who wish to stop by<br />
and share fond memories.<br />
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks<br />
donations be made to the Celebrate Recovery<br />
ministry or an addiction recovery or<br />
mental health organization of your choice.<br />

DORAN<br />
Jason A. Doran, 48, died unexpectedly on<br />
Oct. 23, <strong>2022</strong>. He was preceded in death by<br />
his father, Jerry Doran, and granddaughter,<br />
Ruth Noel Doran.<br />
He is survived by: his wife, Shannon<br />
(Karnes) Doran; sons, Brandon (Lauren)<br />
and Gunnar Doran; granddaughter, Alora<br />
Lynn; mother, Linda Doran; sister, Kelly<br />
(Dean) Hoenie; nieces and nephews, Logan<br />
(Tate) Stover, Ethan Hoenie, Emmalee and<br />
Tanner Harding, and Santino Carnevale;<br />
great-nephew, Wesley Allan Stover; and his<br />
beloved dog, Pyper.<br />
There are too many friends to list because<br />
Jason did not know a stranger. But<br />
there are many close friends who will mourn<br />
his loss. He will be missed by his special<br />
buddy, Colton Bendure, one of his favorite<br />
playmates.<br />
Jason worked for IBEW Local 71 for<br />
more than three decades. He is survived by<br />
all of his union brothers and sisters.<br />
The family received friends on Nov. 1 at<br />
the West Jefferson Community Center. A<br />
celebration of life was held on Nov. 2 at the<br />
Della Selsor Building, <strong>Madison</strong> County<br />
Fairgrounds, London.<br />

PHILLIPS<br />
Tracy (Rockwell) Phillips, 53, of Columbus<br />
passed very peacefully on Oct. 23, <strong>2022</strong>,<br />
in her residence. Born on Sept. 27, 1969, in<br />
London, she was a daughter of Sharon<br />
Rockwell.<br />
After graduating from London High<br />
School, Tracy went on to pursue a career as<br />
a trade show manager in horticulture and<br />
advertising. Tracy was a dedicated mother<br />
and grandmother and cherished the close<br />
memories she was able to make spending<br />
time with her family.<br />
She is survived by: two sons, Cole and<br />
Tucker Phillips; grandson, Hunter Phillips;<br />
and fur friend, Sofie. Tracy was preceded in<br />
death by her mother.<br />
In accordance with Tracy’s wishes, there<br />
will be no public services.<br />
The family is being served by Eberle-<br />
Fisher Funeral Home and Crematory, London.<br />
