In lovingly restored Art Deco train carriages, you can embrace<br />
the roaring 1920s in all its glamour and glory. The exquisite<br />
craftsmanship you witness on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express<br />
is absolutely flawless, which is further coupled with impeccable<br />
service and gourmet cuisine.<br />
As you wander through the train, you’ll find plaques at the end of<br />
each carriage that detail their historic journeys.<br />
Notably, Car 3309 was a carriage that was stuck in a<br />
ten-day long snowdrift in western Turkey in 1929.<br />
It became the inspiration for Agatha Christie’s renowned<br />
novel-turned-film Murder on the Orient Express.<br />
Just like it would have been for the high society of the 1920s,<br />
your night on Venice Simplon-Orient-Express is very much a social<br />
experience. Head to Bar Car 3674 to meet your fellow passengers<br />
and sip on vintage champagne, while the ivories of a baby grand are<br />
tinkled by the resident pianist.<br />

You can start or finish your journey in style, with two overnight<br />
journeys to choose from: London to Venice or Venice to London.<br />
