Nestled between the border of Switzerland and Italy in the<br />

The main resort of Lake Maggiore is the small town of Stresa,<br />
where you’ll find cobbled streets with bars and shops and local<br />
trattorie (restaurants).<br />

teeming with cultural treasures. Take a picnic to the historical<br />
palaces and mansions, such as the 19th century Villa Taranto and<br />
its botanical gardens, or Park Villa Pallavicino. Take a boat to the<br />
Borromean Islands, a group of three small islands with ornate<br />
gardens and Baroque palaces. We highly recommend a trip to the<br />
nearby city of Milan or to the charming neighbouring Lake Orta.<br />

Enjoy the beautiful walk from Stresa to Passera church. The walk is really peaceful, about 1.5 miles long<br />
