C. PARENTS/GUESTS & INVITATION CARDS 1. Each graduate will be be given two invitation cards for two parents/guests. The cards are enclosed. 2. Parents/guests are required to be seated in the hall before 7.30 am (morning session) and 1.45 pm. (afternoon session). 3. Parents/guests are advised to have their breakfast or lunch as well as perform their solat before participating in at the ceremony. It is anticipated that the ceremony will take a long time. 4. Parents/guests are required to dress formally according to the following: (a) Male Guests Dress Code i) National or ii) Batik or iii) Lounge Suit or iv) Appropriate Formal Dressing (jeans and t-shirts are not allowed) (b) Female Guests Dress Code i) National or ii) Formal dress or suitable dresses (gowns or dresses that are above the knee - short skirt, sleeveless blouse, t-shirt or trousers are strictly not allowed) 5. During the convocation ceremony, parents/guests are requested to behave themselves and not make any noise. Parents/guests are also reminded not to leave the hall during the convocation ceremony. 6. Parents/guests without the invitation cards will not be allowed to enter the hall. 7. Guests under the ages of twelve will not be allowed to enter the hall. 10
D. RESEARCH ON TRACING GRADUATES OF IPTA 1. The Ministry of Higher Education is conducting a research on tracing IPTA/IPTS graduates as one of the efforts to maintain high quality in terms of servces and the system of higher education in the country. Thus, graduates are requested to fill the online survey available at http://graduat.mohe.gov.my 2. Graduates who have participated in the survey are required to print the confirmation of participation as well as bring the confirmation of convocation attendance and a copy of the bank-in slips and send them to the Registrar’s Office (Academic Management Division). 3. Graduates who are not participating in the convocation ceremony must post their confirmation of convocation attendance slip with the Form K2 (Amendment 2010) if you require that the degree/diploma be sent to you by post. If a representative has been assigned to collect the degree/diploma on the graduate’s’ behalf, the confirmation of convocation attendance slip must be presented at the time of collection. 4. The graduate’s degree/diploma will be withheld if the graduate has not completed the online survey. 5. The online survey system will be made available four weeks before the date of the convocation and will be closed after one week from the date of the convocation. 6.
