Start your sightseeing by taking the

transport/vienna-ring-tram. From
Schwedenplatz, the route takes you
around Vienna's ring, past the Hofburg,
the newly renovated parliament
building. Check out the city hall and
the Urania building. Each of these can
be viewed from the tram and you get a
great overview of the different sights in
the city.

This is one of six flak towers built
in Vienna, which housed the
defense against Allied forces.
Each tower had 3.5-meter-thick walls
so they were not simple to demolish. The tower
at Esterhazy park has been transformed into
an aquarium.
