Interview with boy with the syndrome
Arion Jaramillo, a 17 year old boy, found out 2 years ago that he
suffers from Marfan Syndrome. He tells us that since he learned
that he suffers from this syndrome his life has not changed much,
he only needs daily sports so that his muscles do not atrophy.
Arion does not feel this syndrome until other people make him
realize that he can be a little different from people who do not
have a disease of this magnitude. It is also important to mention
that he was born with the syndrome and it was not very
noticeable so the doctors could not detect it for years, the only
aspect that his family noticed was that his back was not straight,
it was difficult for him to stand up straight and for that reason
they discovered what he suffered from.
