Welcome to our first issue for 2023! I love this time of year; being fully<br />
immersed in a new year full of opportunity and soaking up the last of the<br />
summer rays. In this issue, we embark on a lifestyle cleanse and discover<br />
how a holistic approach can do wonders for enhancing our physical and<br />
mental health (p68). And if you’re interested in a little cosmetic improvement to help<br />
counter the effects of the party season, on p78 we highlight the most popular surgical<br />
and non-surgical body options for removing fat and tightening skin.<br />
As the seasons change, it’s time to adapt our beauty and hair regimen. On p106<br />
Ricky Allen chats with hair colourist Vincent King on how to switch up your hair<br />
colour, and on p90 we look at the fundamentals of choosing cool- and warm-based<br />
makeup to enhance your complexion year-round. We also share the basics of getting<br />
your skin back on track after a hot summer with our curated list of skincare ingredient<br />
superstars on p44.<br />
Late last year, we had the pleasure of meeting style guru and all-round inspiration<br />
Trinny Woodall. Catch our morning tea with her on p64 and discover how she went<br />
on to create one of Europe’s fastest-growing beauty brands. On p74, we also honour<br />
another visionary woman, Jo Malone, and track the journey of her bespoke perfumes<br />
and signature “scent pairing” philosophy.<br />
This is also one of my favourite times of the year because it’s award season! On p30<br />
we pay homage to some of the iconic red-carpet looks of all time. Plus, we showcase this<br />
season’s best and brightest products to hit the Aussie beauty market (p76).<br />
