No doubt, the prize of a fifth round televised tie against Tottenham Hotspur will be talked about extensively but our focus, like Wrexham’s, will be on this fixture and plotting a path to a victory at the final whistle. The game at the Racecourse ground was tough, we knew it would be, but we managed to show a resilience to keep us in the competition. The mentality of the whole group is what I was probably most proud of in the adversity, that attitude has helped us win games this season and will be vital tonight and for the remainder of the campaign. It was evident on Saturday too, the draw at Rotherham takes us a point closer to where we want to be and we’ll take that, there were lots of positives. We knew we wouldn’t get it all our own way and how they would approach the game and, to be honest we’ve played a lot worse than that and won games this season. I thought we got into so many promising positions, especially first half, but didn’t manage to cause problems for the home goalkeeper. In the second half we had big chances and were dominant with the ball and territory, but the last bit was missing. Overall, it was a strong performance, and we praised the players afterwards. Tonight, is the first of three home fixtures in eight days and we always see games here as great opportunities to win or pick up points. We’ve worked since the weekend on an approach that we hope is a success and then we quickly move on to thinking about Swansea and Middlesbrough. Enjoy the game. Hecky SHEFFIELD UNITED vs WREXHAM
