Reading Walks Festival<br />
The first Reading Walks Festival launches this<br />
year (10-14 May) with over 40 guided walks<br />
ranging in length from an hour’s gentle walk to<br />
40 km along the St James’ <strong>Way</strong>. Taking place<br />
across five days, the festival brings to life the<br />
stories, heritage, wildlife and landscapes of<br />
Reading and the surrounding countryside.<br />

1 <strong>Travel</strong> By Public Transport<br />
The <strong>Great</strong> <strong>West</strong>ern Railway runs throughout<br />

Phase one of an exciting 3,626 seater Sports and<br />
Convention Centre next to Ashton Gate Stadium in south<br />
Bristol is now in progress! The Sporting Quarter will provide<br />
a new home for the Bristol Flyers basketball team, there<br />
will be a hotel, shops and a multi-storey car park. The first<br />
phase of the Sporting Quarter development will be the<br />
Sports and Convention Centre alongside the hotel, with<br />
hopes to be on site in late Summer 2023.<br />
