SHARED MEMORIES
"Dover Court was not just a
school, it was a community where
everybody was accepted –
children and adults alike. Where
no student was turned away.
One great feature that made
Dover Court unique was that it
opened its doors to all, and in
doing so, it pioneered inclusive
education in an international
setting."
Dr Gail Gladbury, Teacher
1995-1999
"Though it was 30 years ago, I do
have a vivid recollection of my
time at Dover Court. What is most
memorable for me is the very
diverse and inclusive community.
It was my first time meeting so
many people from all over the
world and I remember learning
about the countries my
classmates came from, their
different languages, and their
cultures. My experience at Dover
Court has given me confidence to
embrace new challenges. This has
enabled me to be well-prepared
for all the countries in which I
have had the opportunity to live
and work. Thank you Dover Court
International School. Happy 50th
Birthday!
Young Kim, Doverian 1991-1993
"The emphasis that Dover Court International School places on
championing student voice has helped me develop the skills to navigate
this volatile, uncertain, ambiguous, and complex world with confidence.
Thank you Dover Court International School."
Ishita Pai Raikar, Class of 2022, Doverian 2017-2022
"Having arrived from the UK with my family in August 2019, despite Covid
dominating much of our time here, I feel that it has also brought out the
best in the DCIS community. The togetherness, care and resilience of our
students, staff and parents has been overwhelming.
I am proud to be a member of staff at DCIS, especially as we celebrate our
50th Anniversary! Also, as a parent to three DCIS children, I could not have
wished for a more inclusive, diverse and welcoming school."
David Burren, Deputy Head - Inclusion, Doverian since 2019
