County appointed citizens’ committee works to maintain adult care home residents’ Bill of
Rights (includes assisted living facilities and family care homes). They serve as a nucleus for
community involvement and education. Reports of quarterly visits to various facilities are on
its web site. Committee is part of the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program.
