CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES<br />
(CCRCS)<br />
Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) provide varying levels of housing<br />
options and assistance based on a resident’s needs. These range from independent<br />
units (such as apartments or cottages/villas) to assisted living to skilled nursing care.<br />
Many CCRCs require applicants to be functionally independent when they apply and/<br />
or become a resident. Call individual CCRCs for specific information.<br />
