Each <strong>County</strong> Department or Council on Aging is charged with providing individualized<br />
information, education, and support to family caregivers. Most agencies have support<br />
groups onsite and can refer to other disease specific support groups in the Triangle. Telephone<br />
consultations, office appointments, and in some cases, home assessments may be<br />
available. Long distance family caregivers can consult the aging office where they or their<br />
family member resides.<br />
