burdening others with your needs

Attaining the Best of the Hereafter

You desire provision from the world for the

purpose of attaining the best of the Hereafter

Benefiting the Needy

Your attainment of wealth and position is for

the benefit of the needy

Allāh says, “Allāh is the One Who has

subjected the sea for you so that ships may

sail upon it by His command, and that you

may seek His bounty, and that perhaps you

will be grateful.” [Al-Jāthiyah 45:13]

The Prophet Mu#ammad prohibited

denunciation of the world. He said: “Lawful

riches are a benefit to a pious man” [Al-

Bayhaqī in Shu’ab Al-Īmān 1190]. He benefits
