Join us at Doncaster library for a Chinese Calligraphy<br />
workshop taught by artist and calligrapher, Kelvin<br />
Kwan. In this workshop you will learn simple calligraphy<br />
techniques, incorporating Kelvin's unique aproach to<br />
art and creativity. Kelvin is an experienced artist and<br />
teacher and his work expresses simplicity, freshness<br />
and hope. No experience necessary and all materials<br />
supplied.<br />

Ebru is the traditional art of marbling, creating colourful<br />
patterns by sprinkling colour pigments on an aqueous<br />
solution and then transforming this pattern into<br />
paper. In this workshop, Ezgi, an Ebru artist based in<br />
Melbourne, will guide you through this unique art form<br />
using special materials and centuries-old techniques.<br />
You will learn: the history of Ebru Art Technique,<br />
traditional Ebru Art Patterns and undertake a hands-on<br />
practice of the art yourself.<br />
