GAMO speed and power,” is how the excited Gamo team describe the key selling points of the “Unprecedented company’s new air rifle. “Unparalleled performance,” was another description used when the Gun Trade World team sat down with the Gamo staff at the recent IWA OutdoorClassics show in Germany. Gamo has a rich history in the manufacturing of air rifles, it’s first came to market in 1961 and since then the company has grown to become the largest airgun manufacturer in Europe. Since the company began exporting in 1963 shooters in over 50 countries enjoy using Gamo’s range of products. Offering smoother operation and improved accuracy for an unprecedented shooting experience, the Viper Pro 10X GEN3i includes the patent-pending 10X GEN3i Technology with Gamo’s revolutionary new horizontal inertial fed magazine integration, making it lighter, more compact, and low profile. The magazine indexes using the inertial force from the recoil of the air rifle – creating a smoother and more precise breech-loading process. This air rifle features a new stock that combines a traditional hunting stock design with the automotive grade glass filled nylon materials. Forearm, grip, and cheek piece are non-slip texturised. Key Technologies Whisper Maxxim The Whisper Maxxim features two noise dampening chambers, offering a quieter performance as well as an improved muzzle break design. The new muzzle break helps reduce the recoil and is also integrated with the bull barrel. This new technology results in a lightweight, fluted, polymer/steel rifled barrel, integrating one of the latest sound-suppression technologies from Gamo. The Whisper Maxxim takes less space than the Whisper, keeping a better weight balance while making the air rifle quieter. IGT MACH 1 Based off the ground-breaking IGT platform, the IGT MACH 1 replaces the standard spring power plant with an Inert Gas Cylinder, but the IGT MACH 1’s monster 33-millimeter cylinder delivers more velocity and terminal penetration. The pneumatic cylinder rockets pellets up to 1420 Feet Per Second (fps) in .177 calibre (with PBA Platinum Ammo), and promotes smooth and consistent cocking efforts with constant power delivered to any pellet you shoot. (Custom Action Trigger) enables Gamo air rifle owners to independently adjust the 1st and 2nd stages of their trigger to tailor the trigger pull and crispness to their personal preference. Simply loosen the 1st stage adjustment screw and the trigger travel increases. If a shorter travel length is desired just tighten the same screw to decrease the 1st Stage travel length. The 2nd Stage Adjustment is made just as easily – unscrew the adjustment setting to increase the 2nd Stage travel length or decrease it by screwing in the same adjustment point. RRR Gamo, pioneering the latest air gun technology, delivers the ground-breaking Triple R (Recoil Reducing Rail). The RRR was developed to subdue the taxing stresses placed on your scope from the intense recoil of air guns and highpowered rifles. The Recoil Reducing Rail uses patent pending two-piece aluminium construction separated by dual polymer struts to absorb the shockwaves generated by the recoil. Once the scope is mounted to the Recoil Reducing Rail, the recoil stresses to its internal components are reduced by almost 100 per cent.
