DOING GOOD WITH ALUMNI RELATIONS
The middle of the year always calls for a breather. The annual June holidays
have come and gone but for those who were stuck at work, you have us to
give you some ideas on ways to catch up on your rest!
We may not have a travel package deal for you to sign up for but we
definitely have a line-up of exciting events and workshops that could pique
your interest.
Rest usually relates to opportunities to relax – pursuing hobbies and even
taking up courses to take a break from the ‘real world’. Alumni Relations is
humbled to be working alongside various schools to highlight the
possibilities of courses to take up in order for our alumni to avoid spending
their free time aimlessly.
Alongside doing good for oneself to upskill and reskill during breaks,
Alumni Relations is also taking a step towards social good – literally! We
will be fulfilling our #Walk2gathAR Challenge, trekking, and hiking various
trails along Singapore to raise funds towards Giving Day 2023. Channelling
our efforts towards the SUSS Alumni Lifelong Education Fund; we
encourage fellow alumni, friends, and family to give back. It is heartwarming
to see alumni and their friends and families gather in the early
hours of weekends to walk for a great cause.
As much as Alumni Relations fosters the spirit of lifelong learning, one of
the pillars of our institute, we are also proud of upholding yet another pillar
– contributing to society in the name of Social Good. Let us come together
to do better, together!
If you have any interesting suggestions on how we can further this
objective, we would love to collaborate with you!
