LIFELONG LE<strong>AR</strong>NING, LIFELONG FRIENDSHIPS<br />
It seems like it was just yesterday that we were ushering in the New Year.<br />
<strong>2022</strong> proved to be a year of many changes, feats, and memories made.<br />
At Alumni Relations, we welcomed new members of the alumni community<br />
and have enjoyed the interaction with them through the various graduation<br />
celebrations, networking, and gatherings held by the schools. As our family<br />
expands to 43, 0000, Alumni Relations aims to keep this pillar of the<br />
university strong.<br />
In <strong>2022</strong>, we have come together as one alumni, holding over 30 workshops,<br />
talks, and get-togethers where alumni can rekindle their bonds and create<br />
memories with one another. In 2023, you can expect nothing less from us!<br />
While a lot remains uncertain in our current state of the economy, SUSS will<br />
be your alma mater for lifelong learning. Akin to the government providing<br />
Assurance Packages in <strong>Dec</strong>ember <strong>2022</strong>, Alumni Relations aims to provide<br />
you with the assurance that we will provide new and more opportunities for<br />
alumni to continue learning and upskilling with our line-up of talks and<br />
workshops.<br />
Indeed with lifelong learning comes lifelong friendships. Alumni Relations<br />
aims to help our alumni stay active and strengthen their friendships forged<br />
in SUSS. Thank you to our alumni for making memories with us in <strong>2022</strong>. Here<br />
is to making more in 2023!<br />
If you have any alumni engagement plans for your School or Department,<br />
we would love to collaborate with you.<br />

Alumni Campaigns on Facebook<br />
Different campaigns to meet different needs. We offer a multitude of<br />
creative and upskilling workshops and events to our alumni. In 2023, we aim<br />
to keep up this interaction with the alumni community. A huge thank you<br />
and appreciation to our industry partners, IAL, CCPE, Schools, and<br />
Departments for collaborating with us.<br />

Alumni Campaigns on Instagram<br />
Instagram continues to be an important platform to reach out to alumni<br />
through interactions mostly sent in the form of Direct Messages. Exploring<br />
additional posting options on Instagram, we posted more Reels and<br />
Stories and gained greater interaction and traction. We will continue to<br />
explore these options to deepen our reach and interactions with our<br />
alumni.<br />

TRACKING OUR EDM REACH<br />
Alumni Relations designs our mailers in-house, using Canva. Our mailers are<br />
sent via Raiser’s Edge which allows us to monitor our open rate and clicks<br />
rate. As Raiser’s Edge is a donor management system, information for fields<br />
on the transaction, transaction rate, average gift, and total raised will not be<br />
reported here. These will be tracked by the Advancement Office.<br />
In the final quarter of <strong>2022</strong>, we faced some system glitch issues on our<br />
Open and Click through rates and are currently rectifying the issue. Hence,<br />
we will not present inaccurate information for this quarter.<br />

SUSScribe ISSUE 60<br />
Issue 60 of SUSScribe comes to you with a bittersweet end to <strong>2022</strong>. Bidding<br />
farewell to our Founding President, Professor Cheong Hee Kiat, we get to<br />
know more of his plans after SUSS and how he will be bringing the spirit of<br />
