While the Lost Children embraced their new mother, on the

other side of the island a pirate crew was crafting evil plans. The

pirates, in fact, hated children, and the two sides were always at

war with each other.

The captain of the crew was James Hook, a man of refined

bearing but a menacing gaze. Pale, with long black curls and

terrifying ice-cold eyes, Hook got his name from the iron claw

that replaced his right hand.

‘I want to capture Peter Pan and cut him into little pieces’, Hook

would say, filled with anger, ‘He was the one who cut off my

hand and threw it to a crocodile.’

‘Are you afraid of crocodiles?’ asked Smee, his faithful helper.

‘Only of that monster that took my hand. Fortunately, he also ate

a clock. So, when I hear the ticking, I know my enemy is near’,

the captain explained, ‘Peter Pan must pay for what he did.’

On the pirates’ trail, however, there was no Peter Pan that day.

And not a crocodile in sight.
