Did you know that Madison was the Sustainability Champion for<br />
midsize communities in New Jersey last year? That’s thanks to<br />
Sustainable Madison, a borough committee that encourages<br />
environmentally sustainable practices—which you can get involved<br />
in or support. They work closely with borough staff, officials and<br />
committees to encourage, support and initiate sustainable actions<br />
and practices, including composting, natural yards, recycling and<br />

The Madison Recreation Complex is<br />
now home to a new accessible trail, a paved<br />
path that leads from the entrance on Ridgedale<br />
Avenue to the Community Garden at<br />
the far side of the property. In addition to<br />
its sports field, the complex is the site of<br />
walking paths.<br />

Drew (drew.educ), a private liberal<br />
