LAGER 5 TH NOVEMBER Hosting a bonfire night event can be lucrative for your business but it is essential that your event is planned carefully, both before the event & during to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible. Choose one person to oversee the event. Make staff easily identifiable during the event with at least one steward per 250 attendees. Make sure that staff know where safety equipment is located. Discuss your plans with your local council & notify other authorities such as the fire brigade & police in advance. WINTER WARMERS Keep your customers happy with warming comfort foods – chilli, slow cooked meats or a hog roast are sure to be popular options. A winter BBQ would also be a great choice – think tasty handheld foods such as burgers & hotdogs. FAMILIES MAKE SALES ROCKET! Target families with your offering – why not bring in a face painter or offer toffee or chocolate apples to appeal to the children? WARMING DRINKS Run special offers on winter-spiced drinks to entice customers.
