Removing Metals and Impurities to Achieve Compliance and Minimise Water Discharge. SERFILCO SerPure CeraMol Molecular Filters utilise ceramic media for removal of dissolved metals and pollutants from industrial waste waters. Special customized media will remove industrial pollutants and allow extraction of valuable materials from rinses and waste-water. Serfilco SerPure media is designed so it can be regenerated, but low cost enough that it can be replaced at point of exhaustion. Applications: • Polishing of Waste-Water to enable re-use of valuable water (remove COD, Organics, Cu, Ni, Cr, Zn, Sn, Cd, Al, Fe). • Filtration of Rinses to enable recovery and/or removal of metals from the waste-water cycle. Advantages: • Consent to Discharge limits will be met. • The total water consumption and discharge costs will be minimized due to the recycling of a portion of the final treated effluent from the WWTP that can be re-used in the plant. • Recycling of the rinse tanks minimizes the need for fresh water and thus reduces water consumption and reduces the final wastewater discharged to the WWTP by the rinse tanks.
