ART
IN CHANDLER
Chandler Center for
the Arts
Built in 1988, the Chandler
Center for the Arts has
been the premier cultural
destination for live
performance in the city for
35 years. With its enviable
location near Downtown
Chandler, the center serves as
a hub for music, theater and
dance performances, as well
as visual arts at The Gallery
at CCA. From Broadway
musicals and symphony
orchestra to contemporary
dance showcases and concert
performances by national and
global artists, there’s always
something to cater to every
artistic taste and preference.
For some of the best street art you’ll ever encounter,
you’ll find colorful, vibrant and meaningful works
throughout the city.
Take a stroll through Downtown Chandler, where you’ll
encounter murals located in breezeways, on buildings, and in
unexpected spaces. Don’t miss the 225-foot mural that spans a
portion of the Commonwealth Canal, just south of the Crowne
Plaza Phoenix-Chandler Golf Resort. Created by artist Ariana
Enriquez, the colorful outdoor art depicts a range of imagery
that tells the story of Chandler’s diverse heritage to the signs of
modern-day life.
You’ll also see an ode to beer distilling in Arizona at SanTan
Brewing Company, floral-themed murals at Overstreet, and Day
of the Dead-inspired works at Ghett’ Yo’ Taco.
One of the newest—and exciting—murals to join the city’s
growing list of street art can be found in the Hightown
community, at Espo’s Mexican Food. Created by artist
Edgar Fernandez, the Pueblo Alto mural pays homage to the
community’s deep roots and hardworking residents.
