Do they need a safe <strong>and</strong><br />
cozy place to practice?<br />
Do they like animals?<br />
Sign up for a reading session with a therapy dog<br />
or rabbit at the library! Every month, a BARK or<br />
Pet Partners therapy animal (<strong>and</strong> their human) will<br />
visit the library to provide support <strong>and</strong> encourage<br />
practicing reading skills. Reading to a therapy dog<br />
or rabbit is a proven strategy that helps kids build<br />
up their reading confidence with a calm listener.<br />
You can sign up for a time slot starting the week<br />
before the meeting at www.burbanklibrary.org/kids.<br />
Our visits will be on: Saturdays, <strong>March</strong> 2 & 16 from<br />
3-4 pm in the Buena Vista Branch Story Time Room.<br />
