The starting point of this tour is the underground station
Baumwall, which at this point is actually elevated
and runs parallel to the port. To provide the necessary
flood protection the City-Sporthafen directly opposite
the Baumwall station and the promenade between
Landungsbrücken and
Kehrwiederspitze in
the Speicherstadt will
gradually be rebuilt over
the next few years.
