Space Weather Monitors SID Manual
*CVS stands for “Comma Separated Values.” Calling a file .CSV makes it easy to open it
as an MS Excel ® file. However, you can use any data graphing / processing program you
like including ones that you write yourself!
The filename is based on the timestamp for the first entry in the data log file. On rare
occasions there might be multiple data log files for the same day if you do any of the
following operations: restart the SIDMON software, leave then re-enter the “Datalog”
Mode, rewrite or save changes to the configuration file.
The file format is as follows:
All header lines start with a ‘#’ and act as a comment. The header consists of several
comment lines

After the header is completed there will not be any more comment lines, then the data
follows:

etc.
