Bank loans of The New Jersey
"There are so many
money to invest that unless we
have adequate earnings it will
not be possible to refinance
this bank debt, since investors
will pass us by in favor of
something better, even at rates
of interest that have risen some
100 percent in the last four
years.
"Unless we can compete we
cannot get the money
necessary to have our system
keep pace with the needs of
our customers. This would be
unthinkable We are in business
to provide service, not excuses
