� Competition Training Centers (CTC’s) �<br />
There are eight CTC’s (see below) in the <strong>USTA</strong> Missouri Valley, each offering low cost ($150-$250), high-level <strong>com</strong>petitive training to 16<br />
(eight boys and eight girls) of the “best” players, ages 10-14, within a prescribed geographic area. The program consists of 50 hours<br />
between the fall and the spring and includes a mixture of modified <strong>com</strong>petition, fitness drills, fitness evaluation, sport science and skill<br />
drills. All the training is sport-specific and is provided by the best coaches within an area as a supplement to the players’ regular training.<br />
Nationwide, there are approximately 100 CTC’s.<br />
