PosteMobile<br />

PosteMobile, a mobile virtual network<br />

operator (MVNO), chose <strong>Accenture</strong><br />

as its mobile virtual network enabler<br />

(MVNE). <strong>Accenture</strong> completed the design<br />

and implementation of PosteMobile’s<br />

infrastructure in less than five months.<br />

<strong>Accenture</strong> built 102 interfaces, integrated<br />

41 systems and enabled 14,000 dealers<br />

and Poste Italiane offices to sell mobile<br />

services. PosteMobile extended access to its<br />

existing postal and financial products via<br />

mobile phones, while leveraging wireless<br />

technologies to offer innovative, revenuegenerating<br />

services. Today, the company<br />

leads the Italian MVNO market.<br />

European Mobile Phone Company<br />

This European mobile operator, which offers<br />

UMTS services to 9 million customers, was<br />

able to deliver a single pre-paid/post-paid<br />

convergent platform with <strong>Accenture</strong>. The<br />

billing system supports a wide range of<br />

mobile communication services (voice,<br />

video, data, mobile Internet and mobile TV)<br />

and entertainment, information, cinema<br />

and sports areas. All services are provided<br />

both for pre-paid and post-paid with<br />

a real-time convergent rating solution<br />

enabling improved cash flow and strong<br />

control on fraud and bad debt.<br />
