DARRYL BOEHM<br />
Allan Blair Cancer Centre<br />
Darryl graduated with dist<strong>in</strong>ction from the College of <strong>Pharmacy</strong> at the University of Saskatchewan <strong>in</strong> Saskatooon <strong>in</strong> 1989. He briefl y<br />
worked <strong>in</strong> retail pharmacy before undertak<strong>in</strong>g a residency <strong>in</strong> oncology pharmacy practice at Royal University Hospital. S<strong>in</strong>ce that<br />
time, Darryl has worked at both cancer centres <strong>in</strong> Saskatoon and Reg<strong>in</strong>a as a staff pharmacist, project leader for a prov<strong>in</strong>cial pharmacy<br />
<strong>in</strong>formation management solution, and cl<strong>in</strong>ical trials pharmacist. He has given numerous cancer related presentations to other health<br />
care professionals and the general public, and has several publications <strong>in</strong> pharmacy and medical journals. Darryl is currently the senior<br />
pharmacist and team leader for the pharmacy department at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre <strong>in</strong> Reg<strong>in</strong>a, and is <strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> prov<strong>in</strong>cial<br />
<strong>in</strong>itiatives related to the provision of oncology pharmacy services <strong>in</strong> Saskatchewan.<br />
NANCY HALLÉ<br />
Dr Léon Richard <strong>Oncology</strong> Center<br />
Nancy received her pharmacy degree from Université Laval. S<strong>in</strong>ce 1993, she has been work<strong>in</strong>g as a pharmacist at the Dr Léon Richard<br />
<strong>Oncology</strong> Center. In 2001, she obta<strong>in</strong>ed a MBA from the University of Moncton. Nancy received her BPS certifi cation as an oncology<br />
pharmacist <strong>in</strong> 1999 and has been recertifi ed <strong>in</strong> 2006. She is currently pharmacist coord<strong>in</strong>ator at the Dr Léon Richard <strong>Oncology</strong> Center.<br />
JACKIE MOULTON<br />
Bur<strong>in</strong> Pen<strong>in</strong>sula Health Care Center<br />
Jackie Moulton graduate from the College of Trades and Technology at St. John’s, Newfoundland with a diploma <strong>in</strong> <strong>Pharmacy</strong> <strong>in</strong> 1984.<br />
In 1984, Jackie began her career as a part-time staff pharmacist with Shoppers Drug Mart <strong>in</strong> Marystown, Newfoundland. She was later<br />
hired to full time status. Jackie cont<strong>in</strong>ued to work <strong>in</strong> the retail sett<strong>in</strong>g until 1990. In July of 1990, she began work<strong>in</strong>g with the Bur<strong>in</strong><br />
Pen<strong>in</strong>sula Health Care Center <strong>in</strong> Bur<strong>in</strong>, Newfoundland as a Cl<strong>in</strong>ical Pharmacist. She was later promoted to a Cl<strong>in</strong>ical Pharmacist II.<br />
To date, Jackie is still employed with the Bur<strong>in</strong> Pen<strong>in</strong>sula Health Care Center.<br />
Work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> a rural hospital sett<strong>in</strong>g creates a unique and ever expand<strong>in</strong>g work<strong>in</strong>g and learn<strong>in</strong>g environment. She is constantly learn<strong>in</strong>g<br />
through cont<strong>in</strong>uous education and through enquiries from the medical and nurs<strong>in</strong>g staff. To ensure that patients receive safe and appropriate<br />
chemotherapy services, Jackie works closely with the Newfoundland Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation.<br />
