Section Eight contains details of the Care Instructions which are required by <strong>The</strong><br />

<strong>Warehouse</strong> Limited.<br />

Suppliers should use this section as a reference to ensure that all Care Instructions<br />

are correctly worded, and applied to the correct fabric and garment type.<br />

• Care Instruction label standards<br />

• A Care Instruction Matrix, identifying the instructions that are required for<br />

each fabric/garment type<br />

• <strong>The</strong> specific wording of the instructions.<br />

8a: Care Instruction – Printed/Woven Labels<br />

Printed In printed care instruction labels:<br />

• Instructions can be printed on satin or PVC<br />

• Suppliers must ensure that the print meets the required durability standards<br />

where the print lasts the lifetime of the garment.<br />

Woven labels For woven bottoms and garments which require a wash treatment, the care<br />

instructions should be provided in a woven label.<br />
