10e: How to Measure: Hems (E)<br />
E1 Hem circumference (for tops, shirts, jackets)<br />
Measure across the hem edge on garments<br />
without a tail drop. For tops & shirts that have<br />
a tail drop,<br />
measure straight across the<br />
garment at the base of the sideseams and<br />
double the measurement.<br />
E2 Hem circumference (for skirts and dresses)<br />
Measure from side to side along the<br />
hem edge and double the measurement.<br />
E3 Front taildrop<br />
Measure in a straight line from the base of the<br />
sideseam to a point that is level with the centre<br />
front.<br />
E4 Back taildrop<br />
Measure in a straight line from the base of the<br />
sideseam to a point that is level with the centre<br />
back.<br />
E5 Side seam splits<br />
Measure in a straight line from the top of vent opening<br />
to hem edge.<br />
