4. Awareness generation<br />

Five awareness generation sessions were organizesd on public hygiene, flood preparedness, and<br />

primary health care. Field facilitators Hasina Begam, Dulal Mojumder, Mahbub Hossain have<br />

conducted these sessions. Project manager Okhil Chandra Bairagi and Progrqam Director B.M.<br />

Alauddin have attended the session on 17 June 2010 and 8 July 2010. In each session, 30-40 village<br />

members were present. The objective of the awareness session was to increase awareness on health<br />

and hygiene for women and girls on flood preparedness of community members so that the disaster<br />

risks are reduced.<br />
