Creative arts Before you head into your cave, check out all the ways you can play and explore with Creative Arts classes… In Benjamin Silver’s Experimental Painting class, you can “paint from your gut, not your head,” utilizing a wild variety of media. You might even find yourself working on a group installation piece that re-uses outdated PCC banners. Our ever-popular ceramics classes offer an array of options for working with clay and learning from instructors who are talented professionals. The SE Center ceramics studio is featured in a video on the PCC website: news.pcc.edu/2012/05/ceramics-video/. If you want to make some noise to invite back the sun, we’ve got all kinds of music classes for many levels of proficiency: from Beat Making 101, to those that focus on various string instruments, to Jazz Singing. If you want to quietly observe the changing shadows, you can find a photography class for yourself -- whether you’ve got an old manual camera or a new digital one with (until-now) mysterious buttons.
