The project made effort to provide legal personnel document with close coordination of relevant authority to whom lost their personal document
and unable to get them. The investigation on not providing death certificates for death under the custody of person was deeply conducted and
still it is on going.
Project assisted to provide personal document for more than 1000 persons with close coordination of constitutional affairs ministry in
Horowpathana& Kekirawa in month of December to ensure that rights to obtain legal document as well as voting registration was able to
promote through the awareness of IDPs and Grma Niladari as well.
Another achievement of the project that many applications was unable to get their marriage allowances and housing allowance due to failure of
existing system of the ministry of re settlement. To address these issues project contact Ministry of resettlement and Ministry have promised in
writing to provide those back allowances for eligible applicant at the beginning of the year 2007.
Apart from the receiving complaint, Investigation and inquiry more than 17 consultations have been done and forwarded relevant institution with
the project letters.
In the next year project is expecting to address some system violation of providing some allowances for IDPs by formulating legal system.
As a result of the investigation of the complaint made by DS kebithigollew a public bus was able to be providing for very rural areas of
Kebithigollewa DS division ensuring transport facilities more than 200 school children of that area.
