Nancy Bray relates that she understood the
importance of giving on a regular basis. This
was a systematic way to leverage those gifts into a
much larger gift to give back to an organization
that has given so much to her and her family.
Nancy says, “Southeast does so much for the
whole region. I am very grateful for my years of
employment with Southeast. I have such appreciation
for what Southeast did for my family
when they were in need of healthcare, and I have
always given to the Foundation with a grateful
heart. David helped me realize that I don’t have
to be a wealthy person to be able to leave a larger
gift that makes a difference in the life of others.”

mentored by the Southeast Foundation founders:
Bob Harrison, Hugh Logan, Glenn Hutson,
Charlie Hood and Dave Niswonger. These men
were giants and demonstrated what it means to
be a leader and give back to your community.”
After Nancy’s retirement in 2007 as Southeast’s
Director of Marketing, she continued paying it
forward through her volunteer work with the
Auxiliary and with the Meals on Wheels program.
Nancy is leaving a legacy of her own as a role
model of caring and concern for others to follow.

However, through a planned gift like Nancy’s
insurance policy, you can. We invite you to join
