3.Programming Models This chapter describes the programming models supported by the Dialogic ® IP Media Library API software. The Dialogic ® Standard Runtime Library API Programming Guide describes different programming models which can be used by applications. The Dialogic ® IP Media Library API supports all the programming models described therein. Note: The synchronous programming model is recommended for low-density systems only. For highdensity systems, asynchronous programming models provide increased throughput for the application. 4.State Models This chapter describes a simple Dialogic ® IP Media Library API state-based application. Figure 2 shows a simple application using two channel device states, IDLE and STREAMING.
