3 <strong>Planning</strong> <strong>the</strong> HDG Navora – Connections<br />

The adjustable counter balance allows <strong>the</strong> damper to be set<br />

correctly for a wide range <strong>of</strong> flues.<br />

A range <strong>of</strong> draught stabilizers <strong>of</strong> multiple sizes are available from<br />

HDG Bavaria.<br />

Electrical system<br />

The EC 73/ 23/EEC - L 77/73 (low voltage <strong>guide</strong>lines) must be<br />

followed for <strong>the</strong> electrical connections to <strong>the</strong> system.<br />

✎ The required connection values are listed under 3.3 Technical<br />

data in this chapter.<br />

Water<br />

The heating system must be filled with water which conforms to<br />

BS 7593:2006. Code <strong>of</strong> practice for treatment <strong>of</strong> water in domestic<br />

hotwater <strong>and</strong> central heating systems or <strong>the</strong> VDI <strong>guide</strong>lines 2035<br />

sheets 1 <strong>and</strong> 2 “Avoiding damage in hot water heating systems”.<br />
