DESIGNATIONS OF MISCELLANEOUS AIRSPACE<br />

N63°26'30.00" W069°53'30.00" thence clockwise along the arc of a circle of<br />

40 miles radius centred on<br />

N64°14'23.00" W067°34'28.00" to<br />

N67°31'57.00" W060°18'13.00"<br />

STANDARD PRESSURE REGION (See map page M3):<br />

All CDA that is not designated as the Altimeter Setting Region.<br />

TERMINAL CONTROL AREA:<br />

Controlled airspace of defined dimensions normally established in the vicinity of one or more major aerodromes<br />

and within which air traffic control service is provided based on the airspace classification. The floor of a TCA shall<br />

not extend lower than 700 feet AGL.<br />

TRACK:<br />

The projection on the earth’s surface of the path of an aircraft, the direction of which at any point is usually<br />

expressed in degrees from North (True, Magnetic or Grid).<br />

TRANSITION AREA:<br />

Controlled airspace of defined dimensions extending upwards from 700´ AGL unless otherwise specified, to the<br />

base of overlying controlled airspace. Even if described with an ASL floor, the base of a Transition Area shall not<br />

extend lower than 700 feet AGL.<br />

TRANSPONDER AIRSPACE:<br />

Controlled airspace of defined dimensions within which a functioning transponder incorporating an automatic<br />

pressure-altitude reporting device is required.<br />

USER AGENCY:<br />

The agency, organization or military command responsible for the activity for which Class F airspace has been<br />

provided. The user agency shall be identified for Class F restricted airspace, and where possible, should be<br />

identified for Class F advisory airspace.<br />
