***Diana Scultori (c.1547-1612) was born in Mantua,
the daughter of the engraver Giovanni Battista Scultori.
Her engravings, signed ‘Diana’ or ‘Diana Mantuana’,
include prints dated from 1575 (when she was already
living in Rome) to 1588. Scultori was the wife of the
architect Francesco Capriani da Volterra.
