***Diana Scultori (c.1547-1612) was born in Mantua,<br />
the daughter of the engraver Giovanni Battista Scultori.<br />
Her engravings, signed ‘Diana’ or ‘Diana Mantuana’,<br />
include prints dated from 1575 (when she was already<br />
living in Rome) to 1588. Scultori was the wife of the<br />
architect Francesco Capriani da Volterra.<br />
