�e Photography Centre
Falmouth’s Photography Centre has a
justified reputation as one of the very
best in Europe, offering a huge range
of equipment for both traditional and
digital photography.
The centre also benefits from close relationships
with companies such as Hasselblad, Nikon
and Calumet to ensure our facilities match the
requirements of the profession. From capture
to post-production to output, the Photography
Centre is there to match and support your
development and ideas. Facilities include:
• Well-equipped darkrooms • Film and
paper processing machines • Fully colourmanaged
digital suites • Digital training room
• Professional quality film scanners and Adobe
Photoshop software • Digital laser and LED
digital printers • Large format inkjet printers.
• Photography store containing a range of film
and digital cameras for loan.

�e Media Centre
Our Media Centre is constantly
evolving to match changes within the
industry, creating a wholly professional
working environment whatever your
area of interest.
The centre also has educational partnerships
in place with companies such as Panasonic,
to inform and support its development.
Meanwhile, the technical support on offer
enables your developing skills to keep pace with
your creative ideas. Facilities include:
• Pro-Tools HD recording studio and production
rooms • A newsroom with an IRN news feed
and 43 workstations • Three radio control
rooms • TV studio • Virtual Reality TV studio
• 22 AVID Media Composer edit suites • A wellstocked
equipment store with a range of P2
cameras • A Digital Production Suite with
audio editing and graphics software with
professional scriptwriting and editing software
• A Digital Animation Suite with industry
specialist software.
