As a result, a limited number of adult students will be enrolled each year. Apply early, as enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you have earned your A.A.S. Degree, you can transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree. Technology Management: For students planning to pursue a Bachelors Degree following the completion of an Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.), Southeast Missouri State University offers their Technology Management program. This program is designed to provide graduates of an A.A.S. program with a degree plan that leads to the completion of a B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology. Programs with this designation prepare students through a combination of classroom, laboratory, and clinical/work site experiences. #899 Auto Collision Technologyv�(C.S.)� This course provides training in auto collision repair, straightening sheet metal with hand and power tools, dent filling with plastics, sanding and masking techniques. Basic instruction in oxyacetylene and MIG welding is given for panel repair. Spray painting is primarily with base coat/clear coat paint systems. $100 deposit due upon enrollment—balance paid in full or financial aid on file at least one week prior to the first class meeting to avoid possible forfeiture of deposit, and removal from the course roster. #901 HVAC/Rv�(C.S.) This course provides a general knowledge in refrigeration principals, basic electricity, industry standards, safety and installation techniques as well as system setup, installation and sizing for both residential and light commercial. Students are given the opportunity to test for the required EPA certification at this facility. Students can continue to develop skills as a technician by preparing to take national certification testing, if they so desire. Testing for EPA and national certification is through ESCO. $100 deposit due upon enrollment—balance paid in full or financial aid on file at least one week prior to the first class meeting to avoid possible forfeiture of deposit, and removal from the course roster. This course is an introduction to automotive engines, including theory. Construction and overhaul procedures are taught, as well as student operation of the computerized diagnostic center. Emphasis will be placed on the identification and use of special digital computer operations, production practices, television camera operations, lighting techniques, audio skills and editing capabilities. Students receive approximately 450 hours of intense welding instruction by a certified welding instructor.
