w Applicants to <strong>Career</strong> Preparation courses are placed on a wait list until all secondary (high school) students have been<br />

enrolled. As a result, a limited number of adult students will be enrolled each year. Apply early, as enrollment is based on a<br />

first-come, first-served basis.<br />

Once you have earned your A.A.S. Degree, you can transfer to Southeast Missouri State University to complete a<br />

Bachelor of Science Degree.<br />

<strong>Technology</strong> Management:<br />

For students planning to pursue a Bachelors Degree following the completion of an Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.),<br />

Southeast Missouri State University offers their <strong>Technology</strong> Management program. This program is designed to provide graduates<br />

of an A.A.S. program with a degree plan that leads to the completion of a B.S. Degree in Industrial <strong>Technology</strong>.<br />

The Certificate of Completion will be awarded to students<br />

completing one of the designated career programs. The<br />

Certificate is awarded by the <strong>Cape</strong> <strong>Girardeau</strong> <strong>Career</strong> &<br />

<strong>Technology</strong> <strong>Center</strong>.<br />

• 450 or 900 clock hours of technical training<br />

• Up to 36 hours of college credit<br />

The Associate of Applied Science Degree requires a<br />

minimum of 66 credit hours of course work. The A.A.S.<br />

degree will be awarded by Mineral Area College.<br />
