Sessions will cover all aspects of writing a grant from documenting<br />

the need with research, forming the objectives, methods and<br />

activities, developing the management plan and budgeting.<br />

State and federal grant opportunities will be covered as well as<br />

foundations and private funding sources. Students will go through<br />

the process of preparing and writing a grant.<br />

#410 Conceal and Carry Permit Training (10 hours)<br />

Instructor: Shawn Davis and Darren Estes<br />

This course is designed to educate adults on the laws and<br />

responsibilities of carrying a firearm. In addition, weapon parts and<br />

their safe handling will be included in the instruction. The class<br />

will include instruction time and time spent on a gun range. The<br />

course is taught by Certified Firearms Instructors.<br />

Saturdays, 8:00 - 5:30 p.m. ________________________ $140<br />

Students must register for the class at the CTC and be 21.<br />

Students are required to provide their own weapon (1<br />

revolver & 1 semi-automatic), ear and eye protection and<br />

ammunition.<br />

Instruction part of class will be held at the CTC. No weapons<br />

allowed in the CTC. One hour lunch on your own. Class will<br />

resume at the specified gun range.<br />

Registration must be completed one (1) week prior to class<br />

date.<br />
