#899 Auto Collision <strong>Technology</strong>v�(C.S.)�<br />

This course provides training in auto collision repair, straightening<br />

sheet metal with hand and power tools, dent filling with<br />

plastics, sanding and masking techniques. Basic instruction in<br />

oxyacetylene and MIG welding is given for panel repair. Spray<br />

painting is primarily with base coat/clear coat paint systems.<br />

$100 deposit due upon enrollment—balance paid in full or<br />

financial aid on file at least one week prior to the first class<br />

meeting to avoid possible forfeiture of deposit, and removal<br />

from the course roster.<br />

#901 HVAC/Rv�(C.S.)<br />

This course provides a general knowledge in refrigeration<br />

principals, basic electricity, industry standards, safety and<br />

installation techniques as well as system setup, installation and<br />

sizing for both residential and light commercial. Students are<br />

given the opportunity to test for the required EPA certification at<br />

this facility. Students can continue to develop skills as a technician<br />

by preparing to take national certification testing, if they so desire.<br />

Testing for EPA and national certification is through ESCO. $100<br />

deposit due upon enrollment—balance paid in full or financial<br />

aid on file at least one week prior to the first class meeting<br />

to avoid possible forfeiture of deposit, and removal from the<br />

course roster.<br />

#902 Automotive <strong>Technology</strong>v�(C.S.)<br />

Learn about repairing automobiles. This course is an introduction<br />

to automotive engines, including theory. Construction and<br />

overhaul procedures are taught, as well as student operation<br />

of the computerized diagnostic center. Emphasis is placed on<br />

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification. $100 deposit<br />

due upon enrollment—balance paid in full or financial aid on<br />

file at least one week prior to the first class meeting to avoid<br />

possible forfeiture of deposit, and removal from the course<br />

This exciting program will prepare students for employment in<br />

the field of visual and/auditory communication. Emphasis will be<br />

placed on the identification and use of special digital computer<br />

operations, production practices, television camera operations,<br />

lighting techniques, audio skills and editing capabilities. Students<br />

will demonstrate competencies through written and performance<br />

tests. $100 deposit due upon enrollment—balance paid in full<br />

or financial aid on file at least one week prior to the first class<br />

#905 Weldingv�(C.S.)<br />

Students receive approximately 450 hours of intense welding<br />

instruction by a certified welding instructor. This course is based<br />

on guidelines of the American Welding Society and the American<br />

Society of Mechanical Engineers and starts students on the path<br />

for a successful future in welding. $100 deposit due upon<br />

enrollment—balance paid in full or financial aid on file at least<br />

one week prior to the first class meeting to avoid possible<br />

forfeiture of deposit, and removal from the course roster.
